HBC Robotics Club Competition

The Harrison Bay Center recently held a Robotics Competition on January 8, 2020 after school beginning at 5 p.m. There were a good number of teams competing and special invitations were sent out to the local middle schools. Mr. Bright, the Robotics Club sponsor, was on hand to organize the event. Ms. Lynda Pickett, the Architecture and Engineering teacher, also helped to schedule the event and keep the competition organized. Students from the Harrison Bay Center Robotics Club were on hand to assist with setting up and event and competing.

The teams compete in ten matches against other schools. The HBC Robotics Club ended up with an overall 6-4 score. The teams took eighth and ninth out of twenty-four teams competing. Those in attendance enjoyed the competition and noted how well organized and exciting the matches were.
